I just want our offense to control the game, score when needed

the offense with Jefferson at the helm did not look capable of this. we did score some points in the 4th quarter, but did you consistently feel like we were in control of the game?

I dont want to give away points to the the other team.

neither do i. but saying that all Lee can do is throw pick sixes is like saying the offense will look exactly the same this year as it did last year (112th). i definitely think the offense should improve, just as i think Lee could get better if he's the starter for more than one random week during the year

never said he didnt but he moved the chains and scored points all 2008. we were ranked top 50 in offense and it was exciting to watch

in 2009 we won games because of no turnovers and a defense that was 2 to 3 times better than 2008.

to me in 2008 (yes i got pissed about the INTs) but it was exciting watching our offense

in 2009 i hated watching our offense and our 1-2 effective drives per game

just my opinion though

I never felt like we were going to give the game away when JJ was in. When Lee was in, I cringed every time he dropped back to throw the ball because you never knew who he was throwing it to.

Lee was the starter in 08 and got worse in 09.

I dont support the tigers bc its "fun to watch", I want to win and Im sure they put the guys out there that give us the best shot to win, not entertain.

Exactly so why not stick with the same formula? Our d with another year under Chavis and JJ having a good amount of experience and actually being healthy. Plus the young talent that will be added. Why go back to turnover city?

See how that works?

didn't start until after the Auburn game. La Tech was terrible... but don't ignore the terrible stuff Jefferson did last year. i honestly don't think he improved from Washington to Arkansas

In 08 we could never put a team away either becuase we would freely give them points without them even being on offense

JJ never had a game as bad as JL's Tech game

who the frick doesn't want to win? we all want us to win. i'm just saying that Lee's record as a starter and Jefferson's record as a starter can't differ by much, can it? if there's no difference in W/L, i want to watch a Lee offense

if you think the Florida game was acceptable, then i don't know what to say.

... thought you wanted to just win anyway? didn't we win against La Tech?

Last time I checked Florida is just a little better than La Tech.

I cant stand watching a Lee offense because no matter how good we play on offense he finds a way to dissappoint everyone with a pick/pick 6. At least with JJ there were games where he did not make any huge mistakes and our O controlled the game

You are comparing a fully healthy florida d to a injured La Tech d.

ya think? that's not the point here, though. he was making it seem like JJ didn't look bad at all last year... and that is false.

he said he wants to just win regardless of how it looks... and we won against Tech. i'm saying that Lee looked better against Florida in '08 on the road with a worse defense than Jefferson looked at home in '09 with a better defense

our offense didn't control anything in '09 except for Auburn maybe
