Goodness. He was lined up as a stand up DE against a TE. That kid poor kid wanted nothing to do with him.

And he's an early enrollee. Kinda wish Pete was on staff for this offseason.

Ever since I saw the first bit of tape on this kid I knew he would be an immediate contributor. Ika just has that mean streak that you need to play in the SEC and he’s not going to get pushed off the ball very often with that body. Between him and Shelvin we have some serious beef in the middle of our defense. Force teams to run to the outside against us which plays to our strength with all the speed we have.

If this guy loses 25 to 30 lbs HOLY shite!!! That dude is quick as frick for 370?? My goodness.
If our NTs lose that extra weight and put some meat on under a thin layer of fat those dudes will be wrecking folks. Have to get those guys motivated and in attack mode. Most important piece to the offseason Imo is getting that OL/DL in tip top shape and then figuring out how to score TDs in the RZ. If we do those 3 simple but important things LSU is a playoff team period.
That's how important it is and I think the WRs and TEs make a huge leap next year as well as the running game and Joe Burrows overall game. This team could be very very nasty next year. Ika will at the very least motivate the other NTs. If we can get at least 2 more of Sopsher, Pickering or Moore LSU will be a bully on the field next year.
If LSU starts to land those big time OTs, ends the DL on a high note this recruiting season and continues that in 2020 LSU is going to be right there at the top again folks. Say what you want about Ed O but the man has a vision and is relentless in fulfilling that vision. He may not be doing it in one or two years but he's building it, no doubt about that. GT

If next years defense is anything like this past seasons defense then defending the outside run isn't anything close to our strength. Runs outside the tackles KILLED us this year.

Moves really well for a big dude. If he drops alittle more weight will be even faster.

Depends on his conditioning but he moves very welll with 350 lbs. but yeah at 325 lbs he could dominate
