Where will this be at? I'm sure there would be plenty of people that would be happy to help them find their way off a cliff.

The more people there, the harder it'll be for them to sue everyone when they get beat up.

A moment of silence is the least that we can do. Sometimes it takes tragic events like this (and sadly the Penn State scandal) to remind us that football is just a game and there are many things that are vastly more important.

I would like to invite Westboro down to protest before the game.

Nothing bad will happen to them I promise

Having been attending LSU games for 25 years, I am 100% sure something will be done during prgame for Garrett Uekman.

Yes, no question about it. Football aside someone lost their 19 yr old son. We are nothing if not gracious and respectful.

Yes, LSU offered Garrett Uekman so some of our coaches know Garrett Uekman and his family.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to this young mans family, friends, the entire Arkansas program...but this "moment of silence" crap burns me up. Lets have an actual PRAYER.

I agree with you to a point and I think the moment of silence is better because you can pray in the way you wish, I can pray the way I wish, and so can everyone else. We have so many religions out their the moment of silence lets everyone show their respect towards this young man in their own way and to pray the way they feel is right.

Me too. I wasn't juxtaposing "moment of silence" with prayer, just thought it most appropriate if TS publicly acknowledged this tragedy.

When a student at LSU ('82-'85) one of our players would actually ocme out before the team and offer the invocation. Always thought that was neat.

We should definitely have a moment of silence for this young man; no question about it.

Protesting in Arkansas won't be their brightest move; maybe we could all get together and do The SEC Chant at the Phelps' funerals.
