With his injuries especially, sounds like he’s still raw and needed at least 2 years to develop.

He would have been better going JUCO and getting some PT, rehabbing, and developing a bit.

Sitting out last year was the best thing for him (he was coming off 2 consecutive seasons of ACL injuries), plus rehabbing/coaching at an SEC school >>> any JUCO.

He's only a redshirt freshman, and is expected to play some this year. Dude is huge at 6'3 240, he will be battering ram especially in goal line situations.

A JUCO would have had him on the field to start last year. Those training staffs are basically high school level. The OP's premise is silly.

100% no. You’ve never would have heard from this kid had he gone to Butler Community College. Guarantee it.

Maybe not, but I think he can get more developing and real game snaps that he needed/needs than sitting on the bench for 3+ years

Dont know how much "rehab" he'd be getting. The coach of whatever JUCO he went to would take advantage of him being there and ride him till the wheels fell off

He's getting much better developing and rehab at a 4-year SEC school than he ever would at a JUCO.

He also played scout team last year, so it's not like he just sat around for a whole year doing nothing.

I think he’s in the best position he could be in given his situation.

He’s had time to learn within the system while healing up, and I believe Ensminger will use him effectively this year in specialized red zone packages.

Narcisse's knees is one of the most overblown/Over-exaggerated topics on this board. He is healthy!

Which one? Kinda hard to do both. It's not like a JUCO school would just have him rehabbing and not playing every single down for them. This is a dumb thread.

Last year, the guy needed some rest, coming off 2 consecutive ACL injuries the last thing he needed to do was rush on the field in live contact all the time.

Now it's all about getting back into the flow of things, he's basically missed 3 years of live football in a row and things are going to be rusty. I still think he gets in some games this year as a change of pace QB. He can definitely do some damage, but clearly isn't quite ready yet to take over full time. I tihnk once Burrow leaves, the debate between Narcisse and Brennan will be really hot...because if Narcisse gets consistent throwing the ball, there's not an awful lot Brennan offers over him at that point.

Would you not think JUCO would be better to cut his teeth than going in against top flight competition?
