Harris is not the reason we lost last night. Frankly, it was the result of recruiting defensive players to fit Chavis' schemes. He likes faster, smaller guys. In theory, these guys can gum up an offense, but last night, with Henry running straight at them, they wore down. Outside of Beckwith, we don't have a linebacker that could make Bama's rotation (unless you count our ends, they'd be OLBs over there).

As long as Bama continues to go with monster linemen and 240 lb backs, we're going to need big bodies to plug in.

Had we been able to hold up defensively and keep it close (say, within a FG or so), we could have stuck to the gameplan, and Fournette might eventually break out late. But we couldn't- they drove from the beginning of the game onwards, and just owned the ball on us. We didn't stop them enough that our ground game could ever be effective.

It's our scheme. Jennings could probably go to FSU and shine.
I almost caught myself thinking Harris was JJ 2.0 but quickly realized I was way out of bounds.
I just hope we win out and Fournette gets the Heisman.

no

not at all. what would be the point. he would not have made a difference and it would only further delay the development of the guys we have now
