Is that "no, I used to, but I don't anymore"

or

is that "there is no use, he is the coach"

?

Maximus didn't play but knows more than Miles. I wonder how much Maximus is paid to coach.

My boss would not listen to me when I pitched a new idea for enhancing our pricing. I used the Chief's method and boy let me tell you, he changed his tune lickedy split.

JJ hasn't faced a good defense. When he does, he may fail (most young players do). If he fails, he may lose confidence. If that happens, Lee will be the quarterback, at least temporarily. Those that think the qb job is sewn up at this point, haven't been watching football very long.

It's very important that you stomp first, and then turn your hat. Any other way and the point will be lost.

One of the finer points of making your point. Many inexperienced defensive coordinators would have reached straight for the cap, twisted it to the side and then stomped their foot. Their message would have also fallen on deaf ears. I believe this is where the old saying "don't go off half cocked" came from. Coaches were giving their caps a half-cock before stomping.
