This thread sucks but while I'm here I'll just say as a fan of shaq I support him as long as he wants to be out there.

Shaq has 4 titles, and very much believe it will be his 5th title this year and maybe hang it up.

He can retire when he wants to, he deserves it. Best Tiger we have had IMO. He represents well, let him be.

Shaq is Bowden and Kobe is Joe Paterno. Neither wants to retire until 'cause they know the other one will beat their record. Shaq and Kobe both want that elusive 5th ring.

Shaq has been in the NBA since 1992. Kobe since 1996. Kobe has many good years left. Not a good comparison with Bowden and Paterno.

In my mind, I'm already there.

2 clutch shots last night to help get the Cavs the win...

The Big Guy still has some left in the tank.

He's there to keep the other teams thug from taking James out. They won't take any cheap shots with the Diesel in.

I think Shaq could easily play another 2 seasons with productivity. I heard that he lost some weight. If he keeps the focus and has the desire, then he can still be a great asset to Cleveland for another 2 years.

Didn't say I didn't like Shaq, he just looks so slow on the court. Has lost a lot of his pep since last year
