Setting Expectations for Coach O

To those who are not happy with the hire of Coach O: What record next year would win you over?
To those who are happy with the hire of Coach O: What record next year would set off your alarm bells?
Looking at next year's schedule, I think that anything less than 8-4 would be a serious disappointment. Any good coach should be able to reach 8-4 or better with the talent we have.
9-3 would make me say "let's wait and see."
10-2 or better will give me comfort that Coach O was a solid hire.
Right now, after reading "Meat Market" by Bruce Feldman, I am cautiously optimistic. It seems like O has changed a lot since his days at Ole Miss (for the better).
If we hire a good OC, it is going to be very tempting to start getting our hopes up when we start 5-0 in 2017...that's why I think it's important to set up expectations in advance.

Because what we expect has a major impact on team performance.

Anything less than 10 wins is a disappointment. Schedule is too easy for anything less.

9-3, depending on how we lose the 3 will meet my expectations with O. however, I would expect improvement the next year; that's 10 wins or better.

Expectations should be high regardless of coach. I'm expecting a 10 win season.

I do not think the angry masses would be ok with this, but I think this would be on par with what Les was doing, and I think that was pretty damn good.
ETA: I think we are actually setting expectations for ourselves rather than expectations for the coach.

He gets the same expectations as every coach given the elite talent we get every year
Sec championship
Play off appearance
Legitimate contender for NC within 3 seasons or get the frick out

10 with next year's team, 11+ the next year (regular season). Minimum.
