I don't see many changes. For the most part, their gonna get a pass. Grimes should have been canned last year. Say what you will but Miles had the difference coaching the O-Line and certainly in recruiting O-Linemen. We wound up with zero this year, thanks to Grimes. It's obvious this experiment with no special teams coach has failed miserably. That's gotta be fixed.

CHIP not BRIAN. Chip... you know the one who made Oregon a powerhouse during his tenure, and can also add failed 49'ers coach to his resume. He would bring offense, but hates recruiting.

Chip is Chip
Brian is the arse that I never want to see at Lsu
Chip is a good football coach and is a normal human
Chip would be a great hire at the end of this awful season - I love CEO and he will have had his chance but blew it - what I have already seen is why there will not be 60,000 at the Troy game. If we stay on this track there will not be 50,000 at the aTm game and I am not kidding.
Joe fired and CEO fired it we lose all our SEC games - not kidding at all
We will have to do what Bama did when they went out and bought Saban
We will have to go out and buy Chip

I don't think there is any chance we go winless in the conference, but if we do Alleva and Orgeron should be fired immediately.
If you think it was bad last night imagine what it would look like at 11:00 in late November against A&M when we're 4-7, 0-7.

There could be a change of two on position coaches, but the DC, OC, and HC get a pass. There are major recruiting, attrition, and depth issues that didn't pop up over night and they won't go away over night. When you're playing this many freshmen, you are going to have freshmen mistakes, and it will take a year of them playing to develop any team chemistry (which is not there right now). In terms of recruiting, CEO is right about the need to go to the JUCO level to get a few linemen while they rebuild the ranks through recruiting.
Miles and staff obviously made some errors in recruiting when it came to talent evaluation and character evaluation. They were evidently as boneheaded on recruiting as they were on offense. We're going to pay hell for that one for a while.
As far as Canada, all of those shifts might have worked in other conferences, but he is now in the SEC and what worked elsewhere just might not work here. The SEC teams are not buying those shifts and will have figured it out (just as Moo U did). I hope I am wrong, but Canada and the Peter Principle might have just gotten introduced to each other.

correct Chip is a normal dude that coaches Football
Brian is a arse like many of the folk that I have come across in my life that I never want to be in the same room again
I love CEO as the man and the Louisiana man that I love but what I am seeing is a joke and it stops with the man that is in charge and that would be Joe and CEO
Something massive will have to change mid-season - right now I am worried about Troy taking it to us - we lose to Troy it's on
You say no way
but when you are not good in any 3 areas of football you have issues
We are bad / ST / O and running the football
We are only OK on the D side
added up in the SEC West - we win 1 SEC game or 0 SEC games -
Joe gets fired and CEO gets fired and I will agree with it
Then go the best known Big Time Guy you can like Chip or Jimbo

I do. Anger and lack of sleep clouded my judgment. I'm better now. Still don't want Chip Kelly. If nobody else wants him, that should tell us something.

I have a real concern we don't win a single SEC game.
You are right to be concerned. If I could pick any SEC team to be our opponent next week, there is not one that I would feel confident of beating.

What happens ?
Does CEO and his complete staff get a 1 year pass ?
They pretty much have to. We already look like Keystone Kops with our admin, and making another change this quick would only make it worse.

ST play is awful - on the D side not much good news - O side is a joke
All true.

There isn't any for this year, and next year may be a tough one, too. The only cause for hope is in recruiting. Watching that will tell us whether the program is rebuilding or just floundering.

Hopefully one of the GAs gets a hold of Orgeron's phone and dials an escort service.

after just one day I can't believe I started a thread that ended up talking about a new coach
CEO for 3 years and lets see what happens
Not many programs can handle 6 expected OL men to walk before fall ball starts
But they do need to walk away from power football because that is not going to happen
#5 is an amazing football player and we need to see
Air Canada break out quickly and start the QB that can make it happen

rest of it (except Bama) is just as bad as we are.
