Matt Stinchcomb dis-liked Orgeron's comments about Brosette and his coordinators so much, he said so on the SEC network; is he "beyond silly"?? You can't make this stuff up: O states, in front of rolling cameras, he didn't even know who was in the game. Now that is truly "beyond silly" --- way beyond. This is the dumbest guy I have ever seen.

Dude, a court is not the rant. None of your specious arguments would prevent a summary judgement against you.
Unless he rapes a nun, or something, we're paying.

If he was fretting about a coach calling his third-string tailback a "third-string tailback"?
Then yes. He is beyond silly.
And if you genuinely believe that's an insult, then so are you.

You would be surprised how the legal process actually works, esp., since Orgeron would have to depend upon Louisiana judges and/or a Louisiana jury. His attorney would KNOW that, and, would settle his buy out way less than you think. Its kinda like football, you gotta be willing to FIGHT to win. Orgeron has, as he always has, provided FACTS & ADMISSIONS that could be used against him. I seldom run across defendants so dumb and helpfuL.

You really aren't very bright, are you?

what is the point? You think O should be given a year or two? I have made millions doing this, so no, not very bright big Jeff.

Can someone comment on this.... Didn't Al Davis fire Kiffin and not pay a buyout or anything? I thought he told him to hit the pavement and his crappy job was his justification for terminating the contract.

My point is that Orgeron hasn't "violated his contract" by not doing a great job as coach this season. If the criteria for "at cause" terminations was won-loss record, or such things as you cite, then every underachieving coach around the country would be faced with termination actions for cause. Simply put, sure, at the end of the season, if things keep going this way, I think it's possible a decision could reasonably be made to fire Orgeron. (although I don't think that will happen.) But for cause? Without having to pay the buyout? For the reasons you cite? Absolutely 100% no fricking way. So yeah, you're not very bright.
