This is Louisiana for crying out loud, we have some of the most raw talent you can find. Will Wade once called us a sleeping giant, and he was 100% right. We should be able to go out in our own backyard and find basketball players that can at least run up and down the court with hustle and score some damn points. We're terrible and we're not exactly making waves in recruiting. Geez!

I bet they have plenty that are better than these Murray State guys. Ranked or not.

That’s wonderful, they deserve a pat on the back! If our best player isn’t in the Top 10 Best SEC players then it really doesn’t matter. The Murray guys would be coming off the bench at other SEC schools.

Maybe, but Mcmahon wasn't afforded that luxury when he took this job. For some reason, a sizable portion of our fanbase thinks we should look like a tournament team this year. That was never realistic when the roster was completely gutted.

Idk who the hell they are but CMM and staff could find them if they’d get off their @$$. I don’t care if he goes and pulls them out of hibbets sporting goods if they play hard and show some enthusiasm.

It’s not realistic to think we should look like a tournament team right now, I agree, but seeing some improvement through SEC play and seeing some work being done on the recruiting trail would make things a lot better despite the losses.

Seems to me getting basketball team to at least look respectful would be easier then winning the west in football . Each team gutted!

Look at this roster objectively. There's maybe 3 players who belong on a normal SEC roster. McMahon can't work miracles with this group. This program was in as bad a shape as you could possibly be in when he took over. Literally not one player on the team.

I think it’s more that some of us wish we could still be a tournament team like the guy we fired had us being.
