Has Ole Miss announced their game 1 starter? Just curious who Nola might be going up against if both win.
also has Vandy or UT announced their starters?

I'm more curious about that.

I'm trying to research my own question and right now i havent found much. Just this about Vandy. It's just a beat writers opinion.

Two guys that come to mind to start against Tennessee is Walker Buehler or Brian Miller.

I have to figure Vandy would start Beede on a Wednesday.

UT is going to beat Vandy.

Right now I'd much rather face him than that guy Fulmer they have going as their #2.

I think the biggest question about the tournament that needs to be addressed is: Will Javi be out recruiting again this weekend?

Well with Selection Monday just 1 week away, there is a lot up for grabs. I've got 8 teams that are are a virtual "lock" to host.
Those 8 are:
Florida State - ACC
Miami - ACC
Virginia - ACC
Indiana - Big 10
Florida - SEC
Ole Miss - SEC
Louisiana Lafayette - Sun Belt
Oregon State - Pac 12
That doesn't necessarily mean those are Top 8 National seeds, but I feel like those teams will host a regional regardless of the outcomes in the next 6 days. That leaves 8 remaining hosts. Below is a breakdown of each team that I think has any shot to host based on various factors like RPI, conference finish, etc. They aren't listed in any particular order, I just threw teams in there.
These are strictly my opinion...
8 locks for a host: (not necessarily national seeds)
Florida State - ACC
Miami - ACC
Virginia - ACC
Indiana - Big 10
Florida - SEC
Ole Miss - SEC
Louisiana Lafayette - Sun Belt
Oregon State - Pac 12
Solid on the Host Bubble: (5)
Oklahoma State - Big 12
Cal Poly - Big West
Rice - CUSA
Louisville - AAC
South Carolina - SEC
Good Side of the Host Bubble: (3)
TCU - Big 12
Washington - Pac 12
Vanderbilt - SEC
Wrong side of the bubble: (4)
LSU - SEC
Houston - AAC
Texas - Big 12
Texas Tech - Big 12
Those 8 are:
Florida State - ACC
Miami - ACC
Virginia - ACC
Indiana - Big 10
Florida - SEC
Ole Miss - SEC
Louisiana Lafayette - Sun Belt
Oregon State - Pac 12

Good stuff Astro.
Interesting to look at those numbers.

Vandy, USCe, Okie St, and TCU are all locks as well.

SC, OK St and TCU I can agree with. I'm not crowning Vandy just yet despite the high RPI.

Poche is gonna burn a new a-hole in whoever he goes against on Wednesday

The more I look at Rice's resume I'm not impressed there either.

6 rpi with the #4 SOS and 8-5 vs top 25 should get you a host.

well, we probably want to play Vandy at least once if not twice in the Tourney. If we want a chance to host, it needs to be stealing theirs away.

We disagree there, i dont think we're competing with any SEC teams to host. Beating vandy would help our rpi though.
