Wouldn't mind Tenn if we don't get in the top 4. I think Vandy takes the tourney this year though.

9:30 a.m. Would suck though

Vandy would be fourth not South Carolina.
Miss State 3rd based on winning 2 of 3 vs Arkansas, While Vandy and South Carolina went 1 of 3.
That leaves Vandy and South Carolina they play this weekend so if they don't or go 1-1 then look at common opponent.
Vandy went 2-1 vs Florida
South Carolina went 1-2 vs Florida.
Vandy 4th
USC 5th

the tiebreaker went to Arkansas because MSU/Vandy/USC
don't play Florida
don't play Ole Miss
don't play LSU
don't play Alabama

it's an ongoing update. forgot the -1

Okay. Now why does MSU have to win 2 games against Bama?
Posted on 5/11/14 at 7:44 pm to AstroTiger
MSU and Alabama just don't sweep. That's all it doesn't matter who wins 1/3 2/3. As long as either team doesn't sweep.
Posted on 5/11/14 at 7:44 pm to Doc Fenton
it's 2 or a sweep. I was looking at a separate scenario where LSU might win 2 of 3, but it didn't work out. it's fixed.
Posted on 5/11/14 at 7:45 pm to LSUBaseballGod82
17-11-1 beats 17-12 though, right?
Posted on 5/11/14 at 7:45 pm to AstroTiger
LSU can still win west even if they don't sweep can you fix that scenario As well
Posted on 5/11/14 at 7:46 pm to LSUBaseballGod82
actually we only need Bama to win 1 since we have the tiebreaker over State for 2nd in the West. as long as we sweep, Bama can't catch us.
Posted on 5/11/14 at 7:47 pm to LSUBaseballGod82
When you factor in potential ties or cancellations, the whole thing gets crazy, so maybe it's best to just go by the typical GB numbers and think about it harder after the next conference game is over.
Posted on 5/11/14 at 7:48 pm to AstroTiger
That's right. And LSU can still win without a sweep.
LSU 2/3
Ole miss 0/3
Bama 2/3
Miss state 1/3
Would put LSU first wouldn't it?

Am I allowed to still be mad?
Posted on 5/11/14 at 7:49 pm to LSUBaseballGod82
you're right. i started to work out that scenario, but didn't think it worked, but it does. added.
