I do realize that Shaw was a Gump. That was part of my reasoning for the SEC’s use of outcome based officiating. We discussed him being an alum and his role and my opinion that he could not possibly be unbiased. He refused to see it.
Cognitive bias is a systematic error in thinking, affecting how we process information, perceive others, and make decisions. It can lead to irrational thoughts or judgments and is often based on our perceptions, memories, or individual and societal beliefs.
And or inattention blindness.

I agree that the missed call was ridiculous, but no need to spread lies. As you can see by the number of upvotes you got, people on here will believe anything that fits their narrative.
True. LSUvet72 thought the SEC office was in Tuscaloosa

The new SEC head of officials is a Harvard Alum.
The NCAA head of officials is a Bama alum.
He wasn't wrong. NCAA is over the SEC...

Not really. Shaw has a totally different set of responsibilities now and has no say in how the SEC officiates. The SEC does not report to the NCAA.

You’re right no point getting upset over things you can’t control. Best advice on this thread. Thank you

Brian Kelly is learning what it means to be in a conference now and why ND never wanted to be in one. Lol and it just so happens to be in the most corrupt conference in college sports! Smh

The SEC isn't going to touch any SEC team - particularly Alabama - that's in the NC hunt this late in the season.
