You snooze against 5$7, you lose.

You got the "Can't spell Citrus without UT" Bowl at 1pm on a Monday work day against an unranked team.

Would much rather the Gator Bowl at 3:30 against Notre Dame in Jacksonville..........

Definitely agree… With the 12 team format, does the Sugar Bowl forever become a semifinal AND final venue?

Was Purdue the runner up in the Big 10?

They were. Same thing.
come on, man. Michigan and Ohio State were CLEARLY the top 2 teams in the Big Ten.

Now yes, I understand your argument that Purdue won their division and played in the CCG, but that doesn't make them the "runner up" in my mind. It was just a consequence of the division splits this year.

Big Ten has 2 teams in the playoff, and Penn State got picked for the Rose Bowl.

So if you want to argue a technicality about Purdue being the runner up and they go to the Rose Bowl, have at it.

But that's not the way it should be, at all.
