This is the kind of shite that makes me sick. I'm not rooting for a team just because they are in our conference, and they "make our loss look better".

An SEC win won't hurt to keep that recruiting pipeline open for US though...not that a loss would necessarily hamper it.

I like how everyone is acting like this is a done deal. UT still has to get past a team that actually plays defense, which they haven't seen yet. They also gave up 40 pts to a mediocre TAMU offense, and Nebraska's offense isn't worse than that. Nebraska definitely has a good chance at making things very interesting.

Can't stand Bama or Florida, but will be staying SEC for all Bowl Games for the foreseeable future. The strength of the conference only helps us in the long run. And Florida and Bama's strength will only get them so many recruits. They can still only sign a finite number, and top prospects want to go to teams where they'll play. Why would 4 5-star running backs all sign with the same team?
We can still lock La. down and raid Texas to fill in the gaps.

If Texas wins a BCS crystal it will make recruiting harder for LSU in Texas. Geaux SEC.

I will pull for Florida over Texas. No fanbase is as arrogant and conceited as the whorns. But, should Bama beat UF I would pull for a 10 OT 0-0 tie. Thought of either one of those fan bases gloating makes me want to puke.
