Has anyone seen if COX put out what channel number the SEC network will be yet, if so what is the number??

That's pretty much the screen name choosing process of 13 year olds, I'll give OP the benefit of thinking he's older and just didn't care about him screenname.

Saw a short promo about the SEC Network on one of the Cox channels and it showed channel 1037, or the current CST channel. We'll know shortly. They will promo it to death in another week or so I'm sure.

I've heard through a legit source saying it's between 1 and 2999 so just scroll through all the channels you will eventually find it!

thank you lsuman25 if i start today and scroll through 187 channels per day till August 14 I will finally hit all the channels so I will then have to start over on the 14th to finally see the channel. SEC sports are that important that I think I will do that.

82/1082... is digital(have to have a box or digital reception), not on the sports tier, and will not cost extra to get it! Geaux COX!

I spoke to the salesman at Cox store on Millerville Saturday afternoon and he said that the SEC Network would be in the Essentials group of channels but wasn't sure which one yet. The Essential group channels are 24-106/1024-1770.

I have cox Internet and direct tv. If direct tv does not pick up the SEC network will I be able to watch it on the watch espn app?

Fox Sports New Orleans Plus is 79 and 1079
Golf Channel is 78 and 1078
Fox Sports 1 is 106 and 1106

I spoke with Cox two days ago and they said that the SEC network would be in their Sports & Information Pak but that no channel number has yet been assigned. It will be assigned a channel and be active Aug 14th.
