At several points during the season, the D is going to either be tired, or not having a good game all around, and the offense is going to have to bail them out and scrore more than 14. If you look at last years LSU/Auburn game. Final score was 24-17. We didn't have enought Offense to score more than 17.

I think the notion is bama has a better coaching staff and develops players better. As far as saban vs miles I will give saban a SLIGHT edge. I hav seen saban totally shite the bed more then miles though (auburn and Utah come to mind of the bat). Asst coaches is a wash and so is the SC staff.

Saban has choked more in big meaningful games, where Miles fricks up in normal games where LSU should win.

Well we also have another advantage in we have a new OC. No one really knows what we are going to run. They have an idea but don't really know. That will be a big advantage early in the season when we need it most
