Seriously, you have no idea what kind of treat you're in for...our fans are a totally different breed.
We have seen just about every type. Oklahoma fans, Ohio State fans, Miami fans, Michigan fans, BYU fans, Nebraska when they were winning Natl. Championships fans, etc. We just hope you aren't like Oregon fans.

it's not about the national champ fans. LSU is 100% different than any of those schools you listed. you REALLY have no idea...yet!

Define what Oregon fans are like and I'll tell you if we are like them or not

Just so you Husky-types know, LSU fans start tailgating with adult beverages at about 10 am on gameday - some hardcore earlier. That's about 8am your time, so expect to go the distance with this crew.
I am sure there will be a large Cajun contingent in the Tiger faithful. They talk and swear funny and they will want to be able to find Husky boudin, Husky cracklins and other fare made with Husky meat. Part of their charm and appeal is to eat the flesh of their opponents' mascots during gameday. Kind of hard to do with some mascots, but if they eat alligator a little dog meat isn't too far afield. Be very careful with these people.

I think the majority of people in Seattle could give a rats arse about a college football game. It's a fricking world class city with so much to do that evaluating this weekends UW opponants tailgaiting ability is pretty much not on the list of things to do.

Rude, hate filled, angry, bitter. Just like Blount last night.

You folks sound a lot like us. Except you folks go way further with the food & cooking at tailgates. We mainly use our tailgates to drink & socialize. With many great eating establishments in Seattle, we save precious drinking time by eating elsewhere. We mostly just grill & bring stuff prepped at home. You won't see BBQ rigs and giant tailgate kitchens, but you will see garbage cans & recycle bins over flowing with empty cans & bottles.

Do any of your fans have stripper poles utilized at tailgating spots? Some of our fans have them on top of their RVs.

the thing youre not getting is that football is life in the south. its pretty much how it is for the whole sec. ohio state, nebraska, oklahoma, are no match for a top tier sec school. lsu fans this week will blow your mind

Oklahoma fans = huge douchebags that got an LSU arse kicking...
Ohio State fans = pretty cool, very laid back fans that got an LSU arse kicking...
Miami fans = serious douche thugs, absolutely no fun fans that got an LSU arse kicking and it ruined their program...
Oregon fans = who knows, but if you don't like them, then you probably won't like us.

...you are going to REALLY hate half of our fans.
Half of our fans are really cool and the other half just love to make the other people miserable as hell.

PLEASE come back after the game and give your impression of the LSU crowd in comparison to other teams mentioned here ... I'm curious to see your reaction. And I'm NOT being ugly!

Something to be very proud of.

Your response is totally out of context with the subject at hand.

It's a far, far superior city to anything in the south isn't it?

Most of the Miami fans weren't too bad. I guess the distance between Seattle & Miami made it tough for some of their worse fans to attend. A year later when we played at Miami they were terrible. I guess they were still pissed off at us for snapping their legendary home winning streak in '94 & knocking them out of the Natl. title hunt the year before.
Oregon fans are awful. If your idea of fun is throwing eggs or milk bones at opposing fans, then LSU fans will get along with Oregon fans. If you want to party & have a good time, then you will get along better with Husky fans.
