There's nothing wrong with being optimistic. I think LSU has the ability and roster to win any game they play this year. Does that mean I think they will? No. If they come out and beat UNC or even Vandy or MSU like they did Miami, VaTech, or GaTech I will think 10-2 or 11-1 is feasible. Until I see that I think 8-4 is the safer bet.
I think if you had to put a $100 bet on your predictions on this thread you would get a lot of different records. Mine would still be 8-4 FWIW.

If this OLine and the ground game really gets going against the top competition on the schedule, look out. After watching the 2009 replays against Fla, Bama, and UGA, that team had some things not bounce their way, where it had in prior years. Granted the OLine weakness was glaring and the dumb penalties killed drives, but that team was still in every game unlike in 2008. It just doesn't seem that the 2010 team is that far away from improvement. Having said that, 10-2 and a split SECW title with Bama is my prediction, but LSU reps the West in Atlanta first week of December. OH YEAH!!! Finish off a Boise State in the Sugar Bowl.
