Is Fournette not allowed to get tackled hard by an elite safety??

I'm pretty sure that the purpose of the comment by CLM was to demonstrate why Adams is a serious leader of the defense! But of course some never look for the most sensible and reasonable reason for things concerning anything...

I love this team and I'm a huge homer but I'm not buying that Alexander led the team in tackles.

the offense could go 35-35 1500 yds 8 TD 0 int with a 259 qbr in a scrimmage and it wouldn't mean shite to me

Not the first time that Miles has endorsed Harris as the clear cut QB1. Did it early on in the spring as well.

Why not? Do you believe when Miles said White lead the team in tackles in 1st scrimmage? Seems like a dumb thing to lie about.

Absolutely NOTHING of any substance can come from these things other than a bad injury.
I disagree, we learn who will not play from Spring Reports by who gets raves from the HC. Last year, Chark, so I guess this year it's Anderson. Also, TE receptions in Spring mean a whole lot of blocking for those guys come the Fall.

It's miles we are talking about. In a scrimmage with a new defensive coordinator and several starters not playing, the new scheme becomes apparent. At least it should... What positions does aranda scheme to have unblocked at lsu? Where does his pressure originate?

I mean it's important stuff that giving the TRUE leading tackler hints at. My two cents.

Again why wouldn't two LBs, in Devin White and Donnie Alexander, not be leading tacklers in a scrimmage this spring? We know both are playing a lot, and it's LB heavy scheme. Just doesn't make sense to lie about something so trivial.

How much does Donnie weigh again? Look I'm not trying to knock the kid, but isn't he moving from safety to ILB? that's a drastic change. You're talking about taking on offensive linemen and fullbacks play after play.

I'd lean towards thinking that Miles doesn't want to reveal anything about the keys or scheming of the defense, while also lighting a fire under whoever is competing with Alexander.

I'm pulling for the kid, hope the light comes on for him. I'll buy his jersey if it does.

He's listed as 6'1 215lbs.

And he's never been a safety. Alexander was a LBer in high school, was recruited as a LBer, and has always been a LBer at LSU.

My bad, it was something about safety. He's got the listed weight of one. Maybe I've got an unconscious bias in my head because of that. Guilty.

BigEdLsu, you must be thinking about Corey Thompson. He is moving from safety to LB this year. All but assures we won't see Dee Anderson much this year.

I thought Anderson was a wr? Maybe I'm tripping for real.
