Wear what ya frickin wanta wear!
If you wanta go along, do it. If you like gold, do it. If you think its cool, do it.
For the 10-20% that choose to wear purple or white, it'll just help us to remember our colors... Lord knows we might forget.
It just don't matter. These type debates are best to laughed at on other skools boards.
btw, I'm gonna get me a new purple shirt this week...

i always wear a purple shirt on gameday with the eye of the tiger on the back. but this weekend its gonna be my under shirt...... under a GOLD shirt, because its not fricking hard to do and im not an internet badass...

its gonna start off gold when i put in on, beacause ill be hungover not drunk..but after that shite i hope i dont even waste a second of the game to look down at what color it is...I HOPE ITS OFF at that point!!! but i do kno it looks cool as hell when the whole crowd is the same color...GEAUX TEAM GOLD

Hey ULM fan, I've been in some serious mud-flinging with ULM people on the "more sports" board on here, but good luck with your MAROON OUT thing this week. My only thought was... why not a black-out? Isn't maroon like the normal color you guys wear in the stands anyway? You could get the team to wear alternate black jerseys, or at least some color other than maroon, right? That's like Tech having a "blue-out" even though our whole crowd, stadium, and uniform are already blue. Thoughts? Also, kick some arse on ESPN.

We just roasted Hawaii like a bitch on national television for our RED OUT game with none other than Mark May, Lou Holtz, and Rece Davis in Ruston. You'll have to speak to the Monroe people about all that, but Tech's got two home nationally broadcast games, and all the others but the Nicholls game are on some form of ESPN, CBS, etc.
Tune in on Friday where Tech plays another nationally broadcast game on ESPN at Nevada at 8pm.
