Watching some of these NFL games today with these fast blitzing D's saw alot of screens and got me thinking. When is the last time LSU has run a RB or TE screen? Just seems so obv yesterday as our O-line was getting blown up to try and slow their D-line up with some inside screens. As someone posted last night it just seems like the same 8-10 plays called all night.

told my friend the EXACT same thing when we walked out of the stadium!!.... It is by far the best play to slow a DEF. down. I just dont get why we run that play at all!!!

Yeah, I was saying that during the game. They were being super aggressive in their rush...didn't understand why we weren't doing some screens and quick slants.

And it was as if we never accounted for which side Fairley was going to line up on. He would play both tackle positions, similar to what Dorsey would do, and our quarterbacks are too dumb to even think about checking against that possibility.

Timing + touch + execution = Why we don't run screens.
