He broke the record for most points in one season.

Oh Yea who has a National Championship Ring (Scott or Faulk)
What the hell does this have to do with anything? Who has three Super Bowl rings?

no
kevin faulk is #3 all time in the SEC in rushing yards and #1 in all purpose yards, by 1,000 yards
you can also make an argument that kevin faulk is the most important person in LSU football history, i attribute a lot of our success now to his commitment back in '95...he made it cool again for the top louisiana players to go to LSU

Scott. He has less illegitimate kids causing off the field distractions.

I think Faulk may have 3 Super Bowl playing as a backup or a third stringer I thought this was a LSU College football forum not N.F.L. Forum...forthermore people keep bring stats about all the records Faulk broke when he got the ball about 60%-70% of the time in his years at LSU. When Scott hasn't seen the ball as much. So I guess we will never know...

So Scott wasn't a 3rd stringer last year?
FWIW Faulk played with teams that had little talent compared to what Scott has.

Wow. First of all, please mix in a comma or a period every now and then. Secondly, you are unwilling to give Faulk credit for any of his three Super Bowls, yet you are claiming the NC for Scott when he was fourth on the team in rushing yards?

I love Scott as a pure RB, but Faulk just brought too much to the table. He returned kicks, his vision was amazing, he was a natural leader that brought emotion to the team. Just too many qualities and too versatile to pass up. Have to go with Faulk.

is this thread a joke? how could you POSSIBLY say charles scott.

In the age of free agency and salary caps it is a testament to Kevin that he was around for all of those rings. Ask Tom Brady who he wants guarding his blindside on third down.
In the age of Youtube this isn't really a discussion. I'm proud of Scott but the SEC has had numerous solid to above solid backs. . . Faulk is a legend, a stand out among stand outs.

Faulk... Amazing...
Imagine what Faulk wold do in his prime in our current offense? It would be frigging unreal.

Faulk would be a frontrunner and favorite to win the heisman with this team. Go back and watch the Houston game...

I love Scott, but if Faulk had this year's line he'd have run for thst and more, not to mention the receiving yardage he'd have picked up.
OMG are we really gonna play the "what if" games between a current player and one that played forever ago. BLAH,BLAH,BLAH...another reason I hate bye weeks.

Scott, is good but you have to take faulk. Playing him in the playoffs made me realize his greatness. Taking nothing away from scott but they are different backs and bring different strengths.

There was an ESPN analyst that said Faulk is STILL the best 3rd down back in the whole league, at the beginning of this season.

Seriously? Of all the stupid shite I've seen on this board, this is the most baffling.
