Throw in a below average offensive line AND the most predictable playbook in D1 football.

Thats why the SEC coaches picked him to the first team All-Sec team.

Ridley was a good back and he'll be missed but I think he saw the writting on the wall. We have a stable full of young backs, and he would have lost carries to them.

Or maybe got word that it was a pretty weak draft as far as RBs and he could go as high as the 3rd round?? Hard to beat that if you are him.

Would he have lost 5-6 carries...yeah I'm sure. He would still have gotten the bulk of the load if he was still here though IMHO.

Moron. I admitted I don't know enough about pro ball and the draft. I even asked you to explain why you thought the way you did.

Look, you were wrong. You were wrong in a way that forced you to take a negative position on an obviously good LSU player. That takes more than just normal stupidity. It takes an agenda. But hey, we are all wrong at times. Just admit it and you won't look like such a douchbag-pussy.

You cant pick and choose your threads. Go to the one where we actually made our 100 dollar bet (still waiting)

You sure have a short memory, probably a guy who will try to not pay the bet anyways. fricking know it all.

bah.

I think we'll miss Ridley more as a locker room guy/ leader than his production. as has been stated, we got some boys who can tote the rock. and with so much of that below average line back, maybe they'll step their games up to average and we can really do some damage on the ground.

Nobody takes into account that...yes maybe Ware and Ford could have broken off more 20+ yard runs, but MAYBE the coaching staff was more comfortable with what Ridley offered because he held on to the football. A fumble or two from a RB in some of those close games are the difference between a win and a loss.

Just throwing that out there.

In no way does this mean that I think Ford or Ware can't hold on to the football, nor does it mean that they aren't great backs.

what, huh?

forced me to take a negative position?

I don't even know what that means. Because all this talk was before the draft. And I don't see it as negative, but others do.

Just because I am an LSU football fan doesn't mean I cant take an unbiased stance on our players.

What could possibly be my agenda?

I admitted I was wrong the day he was picked that early. You sure do miss a lot of things, ranter. Or you are just that stupid.

digging what?

and how is someone that was too scared to give a prediction going to come and ask me to eat crow for giving a prediction??

and yet no one will answer who the most impressive RB they saw last year was.

or why when our #2 RB's were given a large amount of carries, both far out-produced Ridley in the same game by a large margin.

ya know, its ok to think that one player could possibly be better than another. That doesnt make you a hater.

You can keep using that angle. It's incredibly stupid. Again, I know squat about NFL and the draft. Unfortunately for you, you know less than squat
