He has by far the best introductory press conference I've ever seen. No one wants LSU basketball to succeed more than him, which is why I've defended him relentlessly up until the season. he brought back life into the program, and like it or not is the winningest coach after 3 years in LSU history. he's not the right hire for LSU, but he did some good things for the program.
Still, unfortunately he needs to be fired. if this were the mid 2000's SEC, he'd probably have a nice 10-year run here. unfortunately with the SECN money the league has multiple solid coaches that simply are better coaches than him.
