We all know LSU will pitch Jared Poche

SC coach Chad Holbrook sounds likely to start one of these 2 vs. #LSU:
Fr. RH Colby Lee (2-0, 4.78 ERA)
Jr. LH John Parke (2-1, 6.57)

Kentucky will be Thompson or Logue. Depends who throws today.

South Carolina is about out of arms all together as this will be their 5th game in as many days...

If Kentucky wins they'll throw Logue as he's only come in for 3 innings in relief.

South Carolina's staff will be primarily depleted by the time they get to Saturday.

Edit: 9th you are some kind of wizard

He's pitching better and I think he'll pitch before Poche in regionals

Walker and Poche have thrown almost the exact same amount of innings with Walker giving up less hits, less runs, less walks and more K's than Poche.

I'm saying assuming a lot, I'd rather throw Walker against UF for Sunday and keep them in their normal rotation of things?

So I guess it's a foregone conclusion Gilbert or Peterson will face the #4 seed next Friday?

This is exactly what will happen Sampson. PM plans things out in advance...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I don't have a problem with it on the starting pitchers. The bullpen plans sometimes doesn't do well.

Grammar police here: It should be "number" of innings and "fewer" hits runs and walks.

Why? You only need to win 3 to win the regional. Why deviate from your weekend guys?

I'm not a baseball guru but if there's one thing I've learned for certain keeping successful young pitchers in their normal swing of things is best.

Because if we pitch Poche on Saturday and possibly Walker on Sunday, I don't think any of them would pitch on Friday.
