Roger does.

And he knows that Mett has zero chance of beating out JJ.

My stance:

If JJ is starting for the OU game, which I predict he will, it is because he is the best QB for that game, which I predict he wil be.

But I can still hope for Mett to catch fire.

Now I have to go to sleep.

EST here.

Wait. . .so if JJ does terribly, somebody else will start?

I believe there could be a point in the fall where Miles couldn't justify starting JJ, yes. I imagine he would have to play as bad in August as he did last fall in order for this to happen.

I feel Miles is putting JJ in a position to succeed however and not fail. JJ will start vs Oregon.

Why do you think he is doing that?

Do you think he would be sitting a better player?

If so, why do you think he would do that?

And, for the question nobody seems to be asking, who says Krags doesn't like JJ better?

He digs JJ's legs. It's been stated about a dozen times here in this thread.

Now you are just being otto.

No. I have refuted your point. You just keep straining to ascribe my refutation to your point.

Roger: There is no competition. Krags and Miles were never going to start anyone but Jefferson.

Roaad: There is an ongoing competition, and it looks like JJ is winning right now.

Are you picking up the subtle difference?

So much so that he would sit a better overall player?

Did you not agree that you believed JJ would start? I think you did. Thanks for making my point. Without even spring practice concluding, we both agree that JJ's versatility gives him a huge advantage over anyone else.

So you are saying that your entire point in this thread is that I believe JJ will win the ongoing QB competition?

Well done.

He has already won the competition. It was his to start with.

You believe it as well, just don't have the nads to admit it. You stated you believe Mett is a better talent but JJ, the worst statistical QB in LSU memory will beat him out?

Wow.

You are a telepath, too?

Because it appears Mett isn't ready to start at LSU right now.

When he is, he will start over Jefferson.

Agree with what?

We both agree that Jefferson will win the real ongoing QB competition?

Will see. We can revisit this later, but my guess is my opinions will be vindicated. You agreed Mettenberger was a better talent, but you believe JJ will start.

There are less differences in what you and I believe than you want to admit. Will revisit later.

What a retarded statement. . .

Do you often hold opinions that you think will be proven wrong?

Talent isn't everything. In all practice footage, both Lee AND Jefferson looked better throwing the ball than Mett.

You can see his talent, he just isn't ready yet.

Not sure about that. Randall by himself threw for more TD's and less INT's I believe. I think Randall is a good comparison to JJ though.

Way to go chief.. Can't have an adult conversation without acting like a child. Adults can disagree without resorting to name calling.
