Siena makes the double play, headed to the 9th. Regardless of what happens, Gata still up 3-2 against a 2-10 team in the 9th

Siena hits a 2-out single, keeping hope alive.

But it doesn't last long, Gata survives

Y’all I don’t think Jones likes the bench very much.

I also don't think he cares for that fence/outfield wall very much either

I was driving to the Box when this happened. What was the call? And why?

Obvious HR for Jones not called one initially, and still not called after review, because umps suck. He only got a single on the play, and ultimately didn't score.

Would love to meet some of the tRant crew up here and have a beer or two. Let's make it happen.

Like Cheer said, obvious HR. It bounced what we all saw off the back of the wall straight up and then into play, whereas the official call was a single. However it was hit like bolt of lightning with velocity ( Roy Hobbs shite) then his next 2 were no doubters with the last landing a few minutes ago in some posters back yard

Okay. I can handle that. Bad call.

But someone in the "Another Flaw with Alex Box" thread implied the chain link fence of the bleachers is an extension of the the outfield wall. That is not true. I sit in the front row(the chairs in front of the first row of benches) of Left field and plenty HR's have hit the chain link fence.

From our seats tonight.

Yeah if it hits anything over yellow line its a HR. No clear evidence last night's single did

How fast did that ball get out there tho.. screamer

Really, really fast. I think Doug said the track man was down, so it didn’t record the exit velo or surely it’d be high on that list. It was early in the game when the gun was stuck on 94.something when Skenes was clearly 99/100. Maybe technical difficulties all around early on, but they got fixed.

What’s insane about this is that both of Crews’ were singles through holes that hit dirt. He’s such a freak.

I meant his “single.” I don’t think it registered for whatever reason.
