Great call. According to the rule book it wasn’t targeting. Shoulder hit him directly in the chest.

This shite needs to be cleaned up.

It was not just the announcers that said it was targeting but more importantly it was the guy in the booth that is supposed to be an expert official who said it was.

The booth official also said it was targeting on the reversed call on Weeks the previous week against Ole Miss.

I watched it once and said no targeting. Yet the announcers saw it multiple times and still don’t understand the rule. The rule is garbage.
