true, people are not into the big picture. I notice ever shrinking sample sizes for large conclusions. one game, one inning, even one pitch taken this weekend got lots of criticism as if it is a indication of the the entire program trajectory.
take a break, friends, re-asses every few weeks on the direction we are heading .not every inning.

Is it possible that we thought this pitching was so good because we suck at hitting left handed pitching?

I figured we might be discussing guys who were actually playing and guys who were being used as starters besides once or twice. You mentioned relievers who were forced to start out of necessity.

Ackenhausen pitching one inning, herring only going a couple, coupled with brozini, little, and hellmers being the main guys out of the pen. If I’m not mistaken the each pitched in two games this weekend.
It has to be Jay seeing what he has. We’re going to need a freshman or two to step up. Need Cam Johnson to come along. I think our first two starters will be fine. Maybe we do something different on Sunday with Hurd out of the pen.
