You really don't think Jay Johnson fields a far superior team next season? You asked what's to say he doesn't field a similar team to this season, but nothing in his track record shows that is likely to happen. If anything it shows the exact opposite. I don't get any of this negativity. I really don't and I find it to be pretty pathetic. I'll never forget what I saw in Jay Johnson after the 2022 season ended. He looked like a man on a mission and he was. That 2024 ending had to also crush him. He won another Natty. I don't think there is a better coach you could want off a disappointing season or finish.
He has literally proven multiple times to bounce back, but I feel like people like you want Jay to fail to justify whatever negativity you have against him.

When your back is against the wall, you play harder. Look back at prior years where a team was overmatched, but had to win, and they did. It happens more than you think. We will see.
