The absolutely obsessive crapping on the coach and administration on LSU’s own social media during recruiting season makes it easy to negatively recruit high school kids. The super vocal and persistent negative crowd on this board make Lsu look like the shittiest place every to be.

I hear some schools boards edit out a lot of the negativity. Why not ours?

Lighten up Francis. If you think recruits are making their choice based on message boards, you have over inflated you sense of worth.

If the coach can't convince the recruit that he knows more about football than the the fans, that's a problem.

Do you think the fans are saying anything the recruit doesn't already know before they supposedly read the message board?

Have you not wondered when you reviewed a product to purchase how many of the NEGATIVES about the product were posted by the COMPETING product for your business.

Many Negatigers are not really Tiger Fans, they are alters of fans from other schools doing damage and many of the GALACTICALLY STUPID go right along with them

Yes, to some extent. I think some of what they think and what their friends think and everyone around them is influenced by social media.

After looking at your posting history I believe you are a bigger O fan than LSU fan... That is a problem, what was your previous handle?

If your talking about the players' personal Twitter and other social media, I would agree that people that contact recruits that way are pathetic. But, when it comes to message boards, there's nothing that anyone says on here that a recruit doesn't already know and if the coach can't convince the player that he knows more than the fans about football, he doesn't need to be the coach.

Becaus the TD admins aren’t morons. They realize that if that try to silence half of the fan base then they’ll simply go else where or start a new board.

So, in your opinion, Orgeron was hired with the explicit intent of fending off the likes of Saban, Smart and Fisher? And that gives you a sense of confidence that LSU is in good hands? Am I reading that right?

Because people shitting on LSU’s head coach have a right to their opinion considering he is unqualified and the worst hire in SEC history.

Yeah...because he could commit somewhere else.

But can also commit here. It’s July.

Based on what facts is Ed Orgeron unqualified to lead the team? Because of a ten years ago or more Ole Miss stint? Complete nonsense

Yes, mainly because of his failure at the job 10yrs ago. How else do you grade a head coach? Based on what he says he can do? The clown should have pursued a head coaching job at a smaller school and earned his way into the big time schools like LSU. But nope, Idiot Alleva hired is dumb arse at our school...it's embarrassing.

Curly Hallman and Gerry Dinardo failed at the job more than 10yrs ago...do they deserve another shot?

Other responses seam more reasonable.

This is the type of response I’m talking about. 24/7.

Does zero good crapping on a coach in his second year. Nobody fires their coach that fast especially with their best sec record since 2012 in the coaches first full season. If you don’t want to be supportive, fine. But this just makes things worse. If you want a new coach, wait till a practical time like after his 3rd full season.
