I went out and looked for an assistant coach with a history of performing well in his first year, then steadily tailing off after that until he was downright shitty. By this method, I ran the program into the ground to the point where we had no shot whatsoever at even beating the good teams, let alone being one ourselves.
Now, where's my $4 million?

Nutz4 had the most intelligent post lately. Les has not performed in the 4mil category as of late, but he has made some changes in his assistants that may pay dividends this year. If he has made the right moves the last two years will be quickly forgotten.

I have not read a single post, I just want to say the $aban is gone and will never come back. WHO CARES about whether or not he was as good here as he is at bama.
Let's stop being spoiled brats and enjoy every season of success here at LSU and realize that 2003 and 2007 were magical and lucky. I would have grabbed my side laughing if, in 2002, you told me we would win the MNC in 2 of the next 5 years.
