on the road against Navy - no so much

You are an idiot.

He is at Houston.. for them to go undefeated is a ton of pressure.. for anyone.. it's still Houston.. and it was on the road.. and it wasn't offenses fault.

Herman plus Aranda with superior talent is as good as it gets.. You saw what he did at Ohio St against Wisconsin and Alabama.. tore them up.

Navy also has a huge home winning streak, and Houston had bad miscues and still nearly won.

Navy is borderline ranked now I believe too btw.

Also, what he did with a 3rd string qb against Bama was genius..

He also beats much superior teams with inferior talent.. imagine him with Ohio-St like talent and the type of offenses he has.

He is absolutely my #1. He has his teams well-coached.

Ala CLM. Jimbo is struggling at times this year because he opens the 1st of games playing old school. He miraculously modernizes in the 2nd half, or when he's trailing.

oh my

I am sure he will make Texas a fine coach

We will see how long it takes for him to beat CEO in the play-offs

I think you are right on Texas. CEO not so much. But his announcement in yesterday's interview, "Im a pro style guy", is concerning. I hope he's willing to learn as Saban has shown he is.

Agreed. But more impressed with Saban's willingness to change. One commentator mentioned today, that he doesn't just Coach what he expects, "but he adjusts to the moment". With all of his success, he could easily just stuck to the same old way.

The willingness to change is the hallmark of all successful people, no matter what field. LSU fans know that all too well.

"With all of his success, he could have easily just stuck to the same old way" ---- and he would not have had the same old success !!!

Yeah that comment from O concerned me. I know many LSU fans are rejoicing in the idea of pro-style QB. I just want a coach that can utilize all the different types of talents. Not saying he can't.

Another reason why I like Herman is he is willing to completely change his offense in the middle of the season to do what is best for the team.. and be very successful with it.

The man has coached 19 games as a head coach and just got beat by Navy. Yet he is a genius to some of you. That is hillarious.

The man has beaten the likes of Lamar; Cincinnati (2); Texas State (2); uconn(2); Tenn Tech; Tulsa; SMU; Tulane; UCF; Vandy; and Temple. That is 14 of his 19 wins as a head coach. Do some of you truly believe he is ready for the SEC based on this?

Seriously? I have my doubts.

Frustrating to see Saban adapt while Leslie kept toss diving Fournette and co to death.

He didn't beat Saban. He was an Assistant on a Staff when the team beat Alabama.

Don't try to make it out to be more than it is. Also, beating FSU is not that difficult anymore. Have you seen the FSU team? Since when is Jimbo my boy? I am far from a Jimbo supporter. Once again you run your mouth without knowing what you are talking about.

The guy has maybe 2 quality wins to his record and some of you are ready to turn LSU over to him. That is how you get yourself into a bad situation. LSU should not jump on the flavor of the month.

F King Alexander made a comment about Tom Herman saying he could lose some games and many here ripped into him yet last week I bet none of you know it alls predicted mighty Houston would lose to Navy. Lol.

Man! whats lost in all the Herman talk, is Saban's willingness to Humble himself and learn from this young guy. I think it speaks volumes of Saban (and Herman).
