Now, this is at least the 3rd time he has shopped himself around to get raises out of goon admins at LSU.

LSU currently has a vacuum of leadership. Be interesting to see how this is handled.

would it be more honorable to just say no to the offer, and be happy with what you're making now?

nobody wanted him in 2007. He and his agent made everyone think that someone did and he got a huge raise.

The automatic clause and winning a NC had nothing to do with it right. Geeeezzzz.....

No. that would just be stupid. I think he gets 4.5 base. w/ incentives that could be 5.3

that would be stupid. College coaches need to make as much as they can as long as they can. Can't blame them for doing it, especially given the loyalty in today's fan bases.

Is anyone surprised Max started this thread, or the content for that matter?

Not sure what his max is right now, but he had incentives added in 2011 after talking to Michigan. This seems to be a great ploy for him.

... plus , I will add this ... I hope Les gets what he can at any rate ...He can't control what goes on in the coaching carousel. Heck, he's having a presser the same day this broke, what the hell do folks want out of him anyway ? A school will fire your arse in a heartbeat at the first sign of any perceived issue. Coaches have incredibly short leash these days. . Its a 2way street.... you can love your job , but , in the final analysis. its a business ....

Maximus is getting more kooky by the day.. Can't get Les fired, and is going crazy at the thought of him getting a raise..

so you think that Miles, or his agent, first contacted Arkansas rather than the other way around? Comical.
