But can you tell me what happened in November that made it turn for the worse? And who's decision was that?

Look Bruh. I wanted Lee to remain the starter as well , but we don't win the Bama game without JJ and JJ played well against every team last year except the TOP 5 defenses he played against. UGA for one half and then Jan.9th. Against the number 3 team on the country, JJ almost had more passing yards than Tyler Wilson AND he outrushed Arky's entire team on just one of his carries. So don't act like JJ just stunk it up in Nov. he played well until we started facing top 5 defenses. He had the best game of any qb , last year, when we played Arky.

Saban is better than all other CFB coaches. Not just Miles.

i sure would like to see what CLM would do with $abun's schedule.

It will never happen though.....only bama gets the cupcakes
You forgot to mention the officiating Bama gets. The first 5 minutes of the game last night is a good example. Replay guy had to be a bama graduate or an ND hater.

While, in that same time span, LSU will have played: USC-1,UGA-1, UF-3.

UF had 6 losses in 2011 and 5 losses in 2010. Georgia lost 7 in 2010 but somehow won the SEC the next year (they were still bad, they just played a REALLY easy schedule). South Carolina doesn't exactly have a long history of dominance either.

Bama certainly lucked into an easy draw this year, but you can't predict success from year to year that easily and it's certainly possible that Georgia or Florida fall off a cliff (again) while Tennessee rebounds under a new coach.

Complaining about scheduling is just a way to avoid talking about why we aren't winning the game that are on our schedule.

Bama has been on a great run, but they also have been very fortunate as well.

Last season as we all know, LSU finished 13-1 vs 12-1 Bama. (one more victory on the season)..LSU won the SEC, Beat Bama on their home field and Bama still were allowed a rematch from the Division of the SEC, That's nuts!...and what did Bama do? They were very excited about a rematch with LSU while LSU was like "not again!"...LSU pretended to be honored to play Alabama..give me a break...should have been the other way around last year.

This year, Alabama benefits from Oregon, KSU and one other team losing the same weekend Bama lost to A$M...that's lucky!

So when Bama loses a game, they dropped 2 spots or maybe 1...Everyone else seems to drop 5 spots in the rankings.

UGA was 5 yards away from playing ND....versus Bama

LSU was one first down away from Beating Alabama this year and playing UGA for the SEC maybe the MNC title, even with a Horrible offense.

So the bottom line is, even though Bama is dominating with Championships, the difference is super super super slim.....Alabama is not really ahead of any of the Elite program in the SEC. they just have the best coach and are the most prepared team each week. But player for player, no, not really ahead

Bama could win 3 more titles under Saban, part of me expects it, the other part of me says, well, Karma usually doesn't allow you to ride that wave for 10 years straight no matter how awesome you are...eventually, a bad injury to key players or a bad QB, something is coming their way like it hits all other programs

Either UGA, UF , or USC has won the east 10 out of the last 12 years. Come on.

Most normal fans know this...it's the "positigers" who think Miles is just as good good as Saban because he usually plays the head to head games close.

That doesn't make them good teams, just better than the rest. People thought it was hilarious that a team that lost to Boise State to start the year won the east last year. And 2010 wasn't much better as far as being a comedy of errors to see who came out on top.

Except facts say that 4 of the top 5 LSU offenses, EVER , are miles coaches teams

saban's 3 best offenses at lsu
2001 11th
2003 31st
2004 38th

miles' 3 best offenses at lsu
2006 11th
2007 26th
2008 55th

so how does miles 4 out 5 top lsu offenses again?

I see a bunch of LSU " fans" talking about how Saban is better than Miles. Lets get it right. Saban is better than every single coach in CFB , in any division

Oh, so let's be content and happy with Saban's leftovers. Where is the spirit of competition and desire to be the best we can be, whether that includes a championship or not.

Miles is not getting the best out of our offensive players and therein lies the problem.

no he does not. he tried to say earlier that last year was one of the best for margins of victory blah, blah, blah yet did not factor in how many points we scored on D and special teams not too mention the short fields our D and special teams gave the O.

our O ranking was still atrocious.

here is a link from him in another thread

Good god. I said nothing about giving up or wanting Saban's leftovers.the point was that posters on here are saying ," no doubt Saban's is better than miles". When it should be ," no doubt Saban is better than all the other coaches". Posters are making it sound like if we got another coach , he's be better than Saban.
