Probably when he is dying like Coach Mac. I thought that tribute, while good, was 20 years late in coming. THAT was nothing less than a shameful mark on LSU.

The only way that Saban would get a friendly greeting in Tiger Stadium at any point in the nex 30 years will be if he screws over Alabama and leaves then in a worse situation than they were before he went there. Then LSU fans might clap for him for dismantling Bama.

Its not really a Saban thing. Its a Bama thing. He could have gone anywhere. If he was at Penn State or Mich, no one would give a terd. But he picked the one place that LSU has its biggest inferiority complex with. LSU fans hate Bama, mostly for dominating us from the 60s thru the 90s.

So the answer is, he will never be asked back.

They are busy making excuses for their girlfriend beating LBs over on their own boards.

Gotta love how her daddy just throws her under the bus. Roll Tide? football is thicker than blood?

The person who should get most of the credit for LSU athletics is Bertman. He helped formulate the hiring criteria that discovered Saban and Miles. Expanded facilties. $abum does deserve some credit but not the Tigers share. Thats why I dislike Bama they are just trying to buy it, not surprising from a team thats been caught cheating several times. $a bum's a good coach but no better that the rest and certainly not the best.

What is the outcome of the arrested BAMA player. If he is a starter, I bet he didn't kick him off the team much less suspend him for any meaningful games

Not true they all argue it was worth it since the money has flowed in to the ad department since his hiring. Its pathetic of how every publication, or marketing materials from hats to bobble heads that are in $a bum's likeness sell so well. The Bama fans delusional desperation is being used against them. Its pathetic that they don't recognize that.

Saban has already said he isn't going to suspend the guy. I don't have a link, but I heard talk of it on the radio today, they were reading a press release.

Its mostly the way it all went down...But here's the top 5 reasons he will never be welcomed back..at least by the fans.

1. He choose Alabama
2. Left LSU on Christmas Day
3. Said I will not be the coach at miami or alabama then whatdoknow he is.
4. Returns on our Sugar Bowl game day and takes all the credit for LSU being in the Sugar Bowl that day.
5. He's a gump!

Saban choose to burn those bridges!

knowing that to excell at his new job would mean to harm that which he helped create at his old job.

that pretty much sums it up for me. So thanks Nick Saban for 2000-2004...but you're Tiger Bait now.

Screw him. Had he wanted to come back to college coaching and he had done so at a university outside of the SEC, he'd still have tons of supporters. Instead, he made his bed...he gets to LIE in it.

"LIE" being the operative word!

All sane and (truthful) Tiger fans know he's a huge reason we have won 2 National Titles in the last 6 years. That said, the WAY he departed left a bitter taste.

Any thinking Tiger knew he would leave eventually, he always said he wanted the NFL to be his last stop. Unfortunately for Nick, he couldn't cut it in the NFL. Beating him at Bama only makes beating Bama better.
