The biggest problem has been the constantly escalating cost to support the football program with TAF contributions etc eating up discretionary funds.

Carlos Carson's first two games may have been among the best two first games of any freshman wide receiver in NCAA history.
Let's enjoy the unexpected journey. Why worry now about the teams we MAY not be able to beat???? There are certainly teams in college basketball that look better than LSU but the best teams don't always win the tourney.

We all believe that our defense under Peveto failed to come anywhere close to the level we expect and that a change was needed. It looks like its going to happen now. We can be happy about it without calling the man a "cancer" or saying things like "f*** you Peveto." He is moving on and we should show some class as a fan base. He was part of a staff that brought us a BCS Championship and he has a family.

The team flies into Gainesville and busses to its hotel in Ocala. Flies out of Gainesville after the game.

Jai Eugene is a first rate kid and continues to improve as a football player. Its nice when good kids do well.
It was Miami 44 LSU 3 in the worst rain storm I have ever seen in Tiger Stadium. 58-3 was the score of an LSU game against Florida in Tiger Stadium under Curley.
