Sure-fire way to stay up is to knock the fricking cover off the ball.

Pads' PBP guy is a .

Botched the call on Schimpf's first homer, and could barely contain his indifference on the two dingers last night.

Pads' PBP guy is Hall-of-Famer Dick Enberg, one of the greatest of all time.

1st HR

2nd HR

There is also a video of Schimpf making a nice sliding defensive play at 2B.

Yeah, took awhile for regular MLB analysts to catch on to him, but some of the fantasy experts were on him before he got called up. He was the contrarian play of the night last night according to one expert. Keep raking!

well he's been raking in the minors for years, he just couldn't get his BA high enough to get a call up. But he's participated in MLB spring training back since he was with the Blue Jays organization. 128 career HRs in the minors is no joke. Really happy for him that he's starting to have success in the majors.

8 of 22 this month at the plate after a 3 of 29 start in june. that's solid improvement there. OPS near .900.
