I posted it once and hit enter by accident with no content. Tried to edit and it was whacked. Now it's anchored. I asked about the twitter policy on the help board, thinking that's it.

With most players I would agree with this, however IMO it looks like Shepard was COMPLETELY underutilized by the coaching staff. Although listed as a QB coming out of HS, most rational people knew he wasn't going to be a QB at the college level. That said, the guy appeared to have outstanding talent. Sometimes a guy just doesn't fit into a "specific position." Sometimes they're just a "football player." I think this is what Shepard was. LSU fans need only look to Ole Miss's use of McCluster in 2009. Sometimes he was a RB. Sometimes he lined up at QB (and was a threat to throw). Sometimes he was a WR (slot and wideout). He also returned punts and kicks. Point being, Ole Miss knew he was a great player and found ways just to get the ball in his hands in any manner necessary.
