I once felt that of all the early entries to the NBA, Hollis Thompson (G-Town) is the one who had the least amount of business entering the pros.

If the rumors are true here, that could change.

There's a guy from Grambling leaving early.

Since it sounds like you know him, can you tell us if this is just a rumor? Or is their truth to it?

Yeah, but he's a transfer from St. Johns and is damn good.

The last time I spoke with him(about two weeks ago) he gave me zero indication he was considering leaving. Like I said, he has a nice set up in BR. The next time I see him or his fiance I will ask.

there's way too much smoke for this to be some made up BS... He's gotta at least be considering it. I'm positive this isn't some made up stuff. too many people with solid info have stated it.

Like I said in my first post, I have no idea if he is considering it. I haven't asked him. All I am saying is I would be a little surprised unless(Not trying to start a rumor)his fiance is pregnant or something.

justin not going pro eventhough i have seen worst than him in the league. he can knock down a open shot and he is 7'0 with good size so he would either drafted or picked up in free agency.

When do the undergraduates have to declare to be eligible for the June 2012 draft?

I don't think he's ready, but not sure if another year would help him any, either.

One thing's for sure...if this is true and he leaves, Trent might as well start packing now.

This is terrible of me, and I'm assuming it's a basketball player....But when I first read this, my first thought was: "Who?"

I thought you would keep up with this considering basketball players probably have the biggest dicks of all athletes.

I see him every Tuesday and Thursday morning. I'm thinking I'll just walk up to him with a video camera tomorrow and ask him. Hopefully he doesn't just shove it up my arse.

He has a chance to be a longtime nba backup center, but he has got to get a lot tougher. He was horrible in the 2nd half of the season.

Just like every other moron from LSU who has left early, let him go and find out the hard way

Yeah, I saw him on campus today so he must be still taking classes. I don't think that means anything concerning him declaring though especially since obtaining a degree is the route to go if you are a borderline NBA player like he is. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see him getting drafted this year.

If true it is like him saying, "I made a huge mistake thinking Trent could develop me." But hey, its the truth.

I don't think it's him saying that at all. He's been in school 4 years. His draft stock is not going to improve. He's engaged, supposedly graduating. Why stay?

Because it isnt like Josh McRoberts where it DOES matter if your draft stock doesnt get better because you are a lottery pick. He is a late second rounder at best. Not guaranteed anything. Anyone who leaves early that isnt even guaranteed to get drafted is plain and simple saying his coach sucks.
