You're pretty close to the baseball team. What's happening with Latz and how do you see the staff shaping up for '17?

If Poche returns, that would give us 2 top-shelf starters. Newman proved to be a solid closer. Then . . . just question marks.

I would transfer also If I had to be coaches by Paul Manieri.

C'mon man. Every coach who's coached any length of time has some skeletons in their closets. But since he's been here how many schools have been more successful and consistent? There may be one or two but that's it.

Isn't Pap his boy? Maybe paps will join him and we can have the RBI and homerun leader, with half the at bats, be our catcher next year.

No. We haven't. Maybe 2 good starters but not great. And Gausman was in his last year when Nola got there. Nola was not a great pitcher his first year. He was good, but nothing like he was the following 2 years. So for those 2 years all we really had was Nola. Then Lange comes when Nola leaves and for the past 2 years all we really had was Lange as far as dominant starter although Poche came through at the end of this season. Other schools year in and year out are loaded with wicked pitchers.

It'll be ok Alice, we saw enough this year that we know it won't be that bad.

Don't know what you're laughing at that? Ross was a good day 3 starter for us. He was money at the end of year when it mattered the most for us.

In the CWS:
2 ER in 2 IP against texas
2 ER in 1 IP against arkansas
1 ER in 2 IP against virginia

Didn't pitch in the supers and pitched 6.2 against southern and only gave up 2 runs, so that's good I guess.

He had a 6.6 ERA in SEC play and that's including going 8 innings and only giving up 1 ER against Ole Miss.

Details just get forgotten as time goes by. Ross was extremely average in 2009

You watch through a perception tinted filter. You know so little.

If he thinks he's had elbow trouble, God help him if he ends up at Rice, Arizona, or UNC. He won't have an elbow left!

Heard from a solid source he has serious health issues, blood disorder or something along those lines.

So quick to jump to conclusions peeps. Take it easy. All the best to this kid.
