would you agree that being an LSU football player is a not only an honor but a priviledge.. and fair or not held to a diff standard than your avg 15-25 yr old?

Maybe youre the one who needs to get a clue pal.

Granted, most of you replying to what I posted are most prob between the ages of 15 and 25, so I dont suppose you are expected to understand.

I understand what you are saying but I think the point of the original poster was to say how great it was to see our young players like Shep and Jefferson show some spirit and fire up the student section before the game. It was a great moment seeing Shepard come over to the section and get everyone jacked up. It made me feel great to see one our players so excited to be out in Tiger Stadium for his first game and also try to get everyone excited with him.

You should just go ahead and change your name to BB, for Billy Badass. Then Miles and the whole team surely listen to this, and the rest of your half-witted opinions on the current state of LSU football.

I'm actually not referring to them dancing or anything. When the players came out in pads for warmups, Shep and Jefferson were both standing in the endzone. Shepard then runs in front of the student section pumping everyone up. Then he got Jefferson involved in it. Pretty cool moment. The dancing of the players was after this but I honestly could care less what they did as long as they get the W when it is all said and done.

Let me ask you something.. think about players like Bradie James, or Kyle Williams, Jamarcus Russell, Jacob Hester, Kevin Faulk, Glenn Dorsey, Anthony McFarland, Andrew Whitworth, Laron Landry, Matt Flynn, Matt Mauck, Michael Clayton, Marcus Spears, Kevin Mawae, Ron Sancho, Tommy Hodson and the list goes on.

Those guys all had couple things in common.. They were ALL undisputed leaders of their teams and they did the right way ... They led by example. They let there play dictate how TS was gonna act.

Seems to me if I were JJ or RS or anyother player on LSU football team those are the guys Id want to be like and act like.
I dont have a prob with players getting fans involved in the excitement..... lets just not overdo it whereas it becomes more of a spectacle...ie TX video I posted.

Just me though.

I know most students saw Russell Shepard and Jordan Jefferson in the endzone in pregame warmups pumping up the crowd together going nuts beating there chests and getting up. I would really like to see this aagain because it got everyone pumped. I hope this happens more often.
