I personally believe it turns out ok but I also could care less if anyone believes me. I care about the end result here and that it works out well for RS anmd ultimately LSU.

I'll leave it at that. I don't care what u think in the hillbilly TN state or in louisiana

You haven't said a single thing in this thread worth a shite.

So you are saying that those who think this won't hurt LSU should shut up because we don't know what we are talking about. . .and yet you say you don't know dick either, and that, from what you DO know:

so we got busted housing one of the five most over hyped, overrated football players in LSU history .. great ..

False.

First off, he was an amazing QB well worthy of the hype. We managed to frick that up though by moving him to receiver because somehow Jefferson has a stranglehold on the starting QB position.

So now Shep gets moved to receiver with a QB who can't get the ball to him and is labeled a bust. With that logic, Larry Fitzgerald would be a bust in this offense.

That was a mutual decision.

I don't hear anyone bitching about it, other than select people on the Rant.

Is it that hard to accept that the guy just wasn't a good college QB?

Quit making sense Roaad and talking facts. Be more like TheBob by bashing Miles about stupid things and continuously crying.

Very hard to accept. He made Darron Thomas look like a fricking walk-on in terms of QB play, and just look at Thomas now. Russell Shepard could have been an amazing college QB. Oh well.

I mean im sure it came down to "you can be #____ QB or start at WR"

I agree though, hed likely be really good in like a Rich Rod or Kelly offense; but other than that who knows.

Shep asked to be moved to WR he wasn't just moved.

Weak comparison

2 completely differnt styles of offense, not mention the the levels of defense he played against.

Absolutely.

I don't think there was anything mutual about the decision at all. I think he just said frick it, if I want to play, I better move to receiver because I'll never get a shot to compete at QB.

And yes, he would be a Heisman candidate in Rich Rod's and Kelly's offense. Instead he plays receiver in an offense that throws the ball for slightly more yards than Georgia Tech.

Was he not a 5 star Dual Threat QB coming out of high school?

But yeah, let's run zone read and speed option with Jefferson. Now let me hear how Shep can't throw. How has our passing been the last three seasons again?

Yeah, I'm the retarded one though. Clearly we've used his talent wisely. But I'm sure that's just Shep's fault. He must not be working hard enough.

we have no better options than JJ at QB. it's the sad truth. if we ran a different scheme Shepard would be a super star QB. he doesn't really have the body to play at the next level outside of the WR posiiton, so maybe he moved because he was thinking about his future
