What number on the defensive back depth chart was Brooks his final season ?? Best I can remember he was 5th or 6th man in rotation ...Pumpers are blinded by NSD...how many people called the Wed night show telling him Beckwith was one of his best players?? Its been a stretch of wasted talent (Quinn,Paris) or signing guys to boost NSD ranking for nothing to materialize.....but Kelly,Golson,or the A&M QB that played at the end were out of the question....its West or bust next year..3rd best player in the history of Louisiana football...Coach..you gonna hang something on the mantle.

My point is. Management. Signing these projects awaiting the NCAA Clearinghouse but no dice on a proven QB commodity. I'm new. I'll type in complete lines.

1 Brooks was a baller. We just had an insane amount of talented DBs while he was here. Sitting behind PP&, TM7 Claiborne and Simon is nothing to be ashamed of.
Do you not remember him balling out against Auburn in 2011?

What the frick are you saying? Is Beckwith not one of our best players? He was definitely one of the best players in his class.

Who do you want quinn starting over? Dural of Dupre or Johnson? Maybe Diarse, but they both have drop problems. And Paris who do you want him starting over? Maybe Thomas, but I would rather White, tolliver and Jackson out there.

or signing guys to boost NSD ranking for nothing to materialize.

Look at everyclass ever signed by every school. you sign 25 players every year because only 2/3 will ever contribute.

but Kelly,Golson,or the A&M QB that played at the end were out of the question

I get mentioning Kelly and Golson, but Jake Hubenak? He sucks. He can't beat out 2 shitty Qbs. he went 0-3 against us.

LF7 is the best player in LA history.

It seems the most recent Miles coaching saga has brought out a large number of lurkers finally joining up or an insane amount of alters.

Gotta love the people with less than 10 posts telling everyone off. I'll ask Chicken for a new rule that you can't start a thread until you have at least 200 posts.

Is this an anti-Brooks post? Based on the context (because I can't tell if the OP is even in English), it seems to be that. If so, frick you. Brooks was integral to the success of the 2011 team, and his passion has been lacking from the last few squads.

SammyTiger. Buffalo using a mid round burn on Brooks has paid off. Him being mentioned in this thread is to illustrate to the "few" believers that are left that things are bad and likely to get worse. Kwon starting at mike in NFL. Dak shreds us in TS with Welter at mike. No Kwon. No Beckwith. Also the we finished in 2nd place to a good team. I've been following sports for 33 years. Never heard anything chatter remotely close to that garbage. LSU football is being held hostage for likely the next 5 years or a retirement.
