i like tradition...don't get me wrong. but, the way nike turf ACTUALLY looks is hard to beat.

Baseball and turf should not go together, sorry.

It hurts like hell to slide on turf too.
not on this one. lot of rubber. however, it's hot as balls in the summer.

That's because this game doesn't mean anything to us.

I'm still at work. Not sure when exactly I'm going to be leaving here. Hopefully before game time. Corner bar is cool, but it buries my credit card, quick.

Nope, bout 12 people, 1 guy with LSU gear.

Id have to check it out. Went to UHS and used to practice baseball and football on the LSU indoor. Also played a few games at Northwestern St. (who also has a turf field). Those hurt like hell, but I am sure that was older technology. Kind of like the old Astro Dome used to be hard as a rock.

What does the bartender look like? At least an OT 5?

Yeah, who is buying this thing and "providing" it to us?

They have better things to do than worry about meaningless mid week games

yes. you're right. it was more like carpet rather than grass. this new stuff is made with shredded rubber in the form of minute pellets. you can bounce a baseball on it like a basketball on a court.
when you slide, it's like sliding on u-high's old turf after it was frozen though. you glide a good ways. tough to get used to for young ones.
