I don't dislike Saban because of anything that has to do with LSU. I dislike him because he's a conceited, totally self-absorbed, rude, snotty, egotistical, classless, lying a-hole who happens to be the leader of a cult of rude, snotty egotistical classless lying a-hole gumps. I've always hated Alabama and he's a perfect match to be their coach.

I don't in this respect.
The man brought LSU to an NC in 2003. He also helped to make LSU a "power" in CFB. He left to pursue his dream (NFL) and, upon realizing the players and game had changed from back when he was with the Browns and that he had made a mistake, he could not come back to LSU (because Miles was here). So, he took the best job available (in the SEC, at an SEC power).
He's pretty much said that he made a mistake leaving LSU. Despite what has been said by some LSU fans since he went to Bama, he still speaks well of the school, its fans and its players. I fully believe that if he could have hopped into a time machine in during the 2006 season in Miami, he would have gone back to December 2004 and sent Huzengia home in that Dolphin plane.
Of course, after thousands of LSU fans made complete asses of themselves about his going to Bama (and have continued to do so up until I posted this, I would not blame him at all if he has a visceral hatred for LSU and its fans. He apparently has more class than that.

All I care about is this DAMN STRONG FOOTBALL TEAM showing up today to WHIP BAMA's BUTT big time!!!
We are the defending National Champions and we're not looking back. Anyone here who is looking back, is a band wagoner and should leave and move on to follow USC or some other team!
