Can you provide some cliff notes of what he said about the defense?

He said that with players being out or hurt that everybody tried to do too much and they were playing out of position. You had one player who’s job was to cover the running back but went for the quarterback or you had a player who had to cover the quarterback but went for the running back. He said if everybody did their assignment those big plays wouldn’t have happened. On top of that he said with our style of play our defense is gassed out in the second half especially the start of the 4th quarter. He said the most important thing we need is depth on the dline because that’s what Ohio state and Clemson has that we don’t.

Nothing Earth-shattering:

Guys missed assignments / run-fit issues, etc.

Talked a little about having a running QB with that kind of speed running essentially a Triple Option. LSU was ready for Trip-Op with Ga Southern. But, were not really able to adjust when it was relied upon in the 2nd half by Ole Milss.

Players may have tried to do too much instead of assignment only

Also, being up so big in 1st half it is understandable (not acceptable) to let up a bit, etc.

Wow. It's nice to listen to a sane LSU fan for once.

Rohan: Hell yeah, he's worth the money! They bend, don't break. And when we really need the stop, they get the stop!
Ro also said, "they have some problems, but they'll work them out".

Rohan started the golden era at LSU with his play vs Tennessee in overtime in 2000.

Already been posted above. Sorry to disappoint you and others but he doesn't think Aranda is an over paid hack. He actually spoke about the real issues with our defense.

So a good offense makes a defense bad and a bad offense makes the defense bad.

This is a bs excuse. Sorry. At some point we have to admit the obvious.

Not tooting my own horn, but simply pointing out that there are some of us who said the same thing and can't change the Rant Narrative.

Although it seems like a trend, it really may not be for this reason alone. Teams do it all the time... a backup plan of attack/game plan.

They pulled the trigger and had issues responding.

Did Rohan also talk about how his best friend stole money that helped benefit kids with cancer and how Rohan had no clue that his family was complicit in the scheme. Trash.

The most impressive thing I got out of that interview is that Todd McClure is raising & selling grass fed beef

boom.... and look at what we are recruiting... you basically need 8 starters on the Dline.. 6 lineman and 2 elite pass rushers... at all times...

our D has some big issues, but it is a fact that when your D had to return to play much earlier than usual because your O scores fast...it will wear them out.
I understand allowing a few more points,
but poor tackling and being out of position should not be.

Umm ..... You mean Rohan sat there and let dumass Moscona blast him for the last 3 weeks about Joe Burrow passing him up as the all time passer in yards for the Tigers.

Moscona has been proding and bringing this up for over 3 weeks. Its like he keeps poking Rohan about it..

Its typical Moscona, its not friendly ribbing although he tries to pass it as much.

He loves throwing jabs at guys.

I wish Rohan would have punched in the mouth 3 weeks ago..

Rohan is a great guy!
