No, i'm talking about the "what do you know about football" line. Obviously college coaches SHOULD know more than anyone on this site; however, your argument of how we can't disagree with their recruiting tactics is just plain retarded. Look at the facts: no offer before the camp and he picks up LA tech and Ole miss offers. The kid is a die hard LSU fan, he isn't some big time sleeper. Go after the big dogs and then pull the trigger on rocky if everything falls through. Not hard to comprehend.

Look at OL Dallas Thomas, he was sitting there w/ offers from Baylor, Ole Miss, Tulane, La Tech, and Houston. LSU offers after the combine, and w/in 10 days of that first big offer, FSU and Bama jump in w/ offers. Now all of a sudden, Dallas Thomas is a big name.

Recieving "interest" from schools is as common as a hooker getting an STD at some point in her life... I played with kids in high school that everybody knew had 1-AA talent that had "interest" from top SEC schools, etc... all those kids signed with Missisippi College and alike schools when it was all said and done...
Getting interest is nothing... I got interest from Beattle Bailey when I was pitching in high school and I thought it meant something... well, let's just say that I never played college baseball...
